IT HAS BEEN CONFIRMED, SIDELINE PEOPLE WERE GIVING SIGNS TO NE, NFL COMMISH IS THINKING OF PUNISHING BY TAKING AWAY SEVERAL 2008 DRAFT PICKS.

Haha that's ridiculous. NE always has a first round pick every year, just take one of them away. But I mean honestly, this should be allowed. Anyway you can get a tip on your opponent, let it be. The NFL is being to harsh on ways in making this league 'perfect'. If you guys kind of know what I mean?

Yes, but it was 14-7 certainly doesn't mean it was way over

I don't understand how you guys can say this isn't a big deal. They were taping signs, and not only could they use them in the 2nd half, they could use them in future games. Its cheating, plain and simple. Knowing what defensive scheme your opponent is running is rediculously unfair, and Bill deserves to be suspended for 4 games, and lose a 2nd round pick. It's not as though this is the first time this has happened, it happened last year against the Packers to. I really hope Goodell really lays the hammer down on the classless organization that is the Patriots.

The taping was more than likely for Later use, Brady's Completion % and QB rating was actually lower than in the first half. I don't think it had anything to do with the Jets game....the Jets were out matched

If they do that then alot more coaches will be susepened because i am 100% atleast 4 other teams do it too.

The Dolphins last season beat the Patriots 21-0 and after the game it was found out that they purchased an iso-feed tape, made for clearer audio to steal audibles, cadences to know what the Patriots were doing on the field.
But nothing happend to the Dolphins b.c the NFL deems Video tapeing Signals illegal but recording them not....thats whats ridiculous. All the NFL experts and analysts agree that this is being totally blown out of proportion by the media and then in turn all the fans blow it even more out of porportion. The people who have played or are close to the NFL seemt to thinks its not a big deal b.c they knw it goes on with a lot of teams.(Not a good thing but the harsh truth.) so b4 you go proclaiming that the Patriots orginzation is classless you better be 100% sure your favorite team isnt doing the same things b.c its very possible that in the near future we may see many NFL teams being busted for this same thing wether it be for the past or present.

I'll go point by point here.
1. What the Dolphins did, although i don't agree with it, was not against the rules. The Pats have been caught before and knew what they were doing was against the rules. Goodell actually spoke to all of the teams about this when he was named commish and warned them that if anybody was caught, they would be dealt with harshly.

2. I don't know what experts you have been listening to, but I listen to ESPN radio probably 2-3 hours a day, and I will say 3/4 of the hosts say that this is very bad for the league, and think the punishment should and will be harsh

3. Former players seem to be mixed on this. I've heard Mike Golic say it wasn't a huge deal, but that they still should be punished heavily because they were warned. And I've heard players Johnny Gray and Harry Sidney, former Packer players, host a GB radio show, say that this was really bad, and that if they were in control, they would make the Patriots playoff ineligible.

4. If the Titans get caught doing something similar to this I will be incredibly pissed, and expect a severe penalty. I do not condone cheating and that is what this is. I will still be a Titans fan, but it would take a while for me to forgive the organization.

5. This isn't the only reason I call the Patriots classless. Bill has always been an arogant prick, and has pressed the rules whenever he has the chance. Doing Shawn Merriman's dance after beating the Chargers, taking cheapshots on opponents, running up scores, and now cheating. This may just be the fact that I hate the Patriots, but I just don't respect their organization. I respect the success they have had, but I have zero respect for Bellicheck and some of the players, not all.
